Reiki & Sound Therapy

Meet Tina

Tina is an Usui Reiki Master and Karuna Reiki ®  Practitioner. She discovered Reiki after being diagnosed several years  ago with Lupus, an autoimmune disease. Upon benefiting from Reiki’s  stress reduction, relaxation and symptom relief, she became a  Practitioner and owner of Blue Sky Reiki. Tina’s positive attitude,  compassion and confidence create a professional and comfortable  atmosphere we know you’ll enjoy.

What is Reiki?

The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words. REI  meaning universal spirit and KI meaning life force energy. Reiki is a  Japanese technique for relaxation, stress reduction and pain relief. It  not only can provide relief to symptoms, but can treat the root causes.  Reiki works effectively alongside conventional medical treatment, it is  not a replacement. Experience the benefits of Reiki with Tina’s light  gentle touch while listening to peaceful music. Relax and feel a sense  of well-being as this subtle and effective technique can eliminate  toxins on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Find  relief from stress, anxiety, chronic pain, inflammation, surgery and so  much more. Balance your body. Balance your mind. Balance your life.

What to Expect

A session is usually 60-90 minutes long. The client  will rest comfortably on a massage table, fully clothed. The  Practitioner will move through specific Reiki hand positions, applying a  light touch or hands off, slightly above the body. Unlike a massage,  there is no muscle manipulation. A state of deep relaxation, combined  with a general feeling of well-being is usually the most noticeable  immediate effect of the treatment, although the benefits of Reiki are  limitless.

Sound Therapy

Tina now offers Tuning Fork Sound Balancing.

Each part of the body has its own vibration, and because the average adult is 50-65% water, it responds to sound and vibration. Sound Balancing with tuning forks works gently, but powerfully to return the body's own vibrations to their natural state.
